We will be making some updates tonight and wanted to highlight the part of our customer support document that discusses our maintenance window.
“Our standard Systems Maintenance window is on Wednesdays from 10pm - 12am. We typically will not be doing maintenance each Wednesday, however should it be required to take our systems down for maintenance, this is when it will be done. In the event you have an instance when this would create any concerns please contact us so we can arrange to work with you.”
We won’t be doing maintenance every Wednesday. But in addition to updates and releases, this is also when we would do server or other maintenance that needs to be performed. If there is a particular week that a disruption at this time could cause you any issues, please let us know. We can’t guarantee that our window can be adjusted, but we will be as accommodating as we can be, within reason.
As part of our updates tonight, we will be making a significant effort to standardize some inconsistencies with dates throughout the system. Dates have been inconsistent between the system’s local time and UTC (Coordinated Universal Time, currently 6 hours ahead of Mountain Daylight Time). The update tonight will make significant headway in making this standard. All of the pages related to Orders, Batches, Printing, and the History Log will display dates in local time.
After the release tonight, additional efforts will be made to ensure all the other pages in our system are consistent with this time format. Our target for these other updates is June 3.
We’d also like to remind you about the WOS Knowledge Base that can be found at http://wiki.warehouseos.com/. For now this page is focused on releases and new features. We are working on adding additional detail and later tonight we will publish a page with tips on how to use the tables in our system.
