We hope you had a successful holiday season.  From a collective view, our customers seemed to do very well and we are pleased to be a part of your success.

We previously announced a major update to WarehouseOS coming in 20201.  The time for us to focus on this change is coming and over the next 6 to 8 weeks you’ll get more details so that these changes are not a surprise to you.  A few customers have started using the beta version of our update.  Our current version and the new update can run in parallel so those who take an early look will have an opportunity to switch between them as they find a need.  At some point during Q1 2021, our cloud services will be updated so all customers are on the new update.  If you are interested in getting an early look at this system, and maybe having a slower transition, please reach out and we will get you on our transition schedule.

You should also know that we will be doing some maintenance on Dec 31 (not related to this update).  This could cause some delays, but we expect this to be fairly routine and cause no issues for anyone working at that time.  If you have any concerns, please let us know.

Please pass this email on to those who will need it.  If you’d like us to add any email addresses to our list, please respond and provide those.

Updated Web Interface

The web interface is being updated with a new color scheme and a more modern look.  (See screen shots below.)  The data grids should work the same as you are used to, but they will be more consistent between all of our pages.  Edit pages for orders, items, and locations have collapsible sections that make it easier to get to the data you need.  Where it makes sense, setting options are being hidden and pages with similar functions are being combined to simplify the options available to you.  A couple of screen shots below display some of the changes to our new design.

Backend Improvements

The backend is being updated to stay up-to-date with improvements in technology.  This has resulted in pages and data loading faster in our web interface.  This comes with security enhancements and positions us for greater improvements in the future.

Feedback

As we make these improvements, we'd like to get your feedback on features that we are looking at improving.  Please take the time to complete the attached survey so we can make sure the decisions we make have your best interest in mind.  We expect our last attempt at this survey was bad timing and hope you can take some time to help us make sure we’re on the right track.
